Thousands of landlords offered cheaper white goods

Online letting agent Hello Neighbour has teamed up with Currys Business to help landlords save money when buying appliances for their rental properties.

The partnership gives Hello Neighbour’s users up to 10% on a wide range of white goods such as freezers, dishwashers and ovens, small appliances and household tech from the retailer - part of Currys - with delivery, installation and recycling handled by specialist teams.

Hello Neighbour’s CEO Richard Jenkins (pictured) explains that by bringing purchasing and installation into a single journey, the partnership helps landlords control costs and reduce downtime when a key appliance fails, while tenants benefit from reliable, energy efficient equipment.

Clearer

“This clearer route to dependable products supports Hello Neighbour’s mission to change lettings for good by giving landlords better value and tenants a smoother start,” he explains.

“We built Hello Neighbour to change lettings for good by making the experience easier, fairer and better for everyone,” adds Jenkins. “This partnership takes another step in that direction by giving landlords a clear route to quality products at genuine value, with the service wrapped around it so homes are ready sooner, and tenants get a better experience from day one. The ability for landlords to save up to 10% on essential appliances makes this partnership another practical improvement to how homes are managed.”

Aim

Hello Neighbour was set up last year with the aim of eventually becoming the biggest letting agent in England. So far, it has helped landlords let more than 4,500 properties and handles over 10,000 monthly viewing enquiries through its platform.

Landlords who let their property through Hello Neighbour can access the new offer at hello-neighbour.com/currys.
