Growing independent estate agency Durden & Hunt has further strengthened its regional presence across South Essex following the acquisition of established local firm Diggins & Co.

The deal brings together Diggins & Co’s four decades of local knowledge and established client relationships in Rochford and Rayleigh with Durden & Hunt’s wider marketing expertise, resources, and national and international network.

Following the official opening of its Leigh-on-Sea office earlier this year, Durden & Hunt’s branch structure now connects every Essex postcode. All South Essex operations will now be managed from the agency's Broadway West branch in Leigh-on-Sea.

The transition has delivered immediate results for clients. Durden & Hunt has confirmed that sales have already been agreed on 40% of the acquired properties within days of them being re-marketed across major portals.
