Paul Shamplina has won Seminar Speaker of the Year at the National LIS Awards 2023, the third time in a row the Landlord Action founder and Hamilton Fraser Chief Commercial Officer has received the honour.

He was one of over 20 winners at the gala event, which was held last week in central London.

The LIS Awards were launched in 2018 to celebrate the stars of the landlord and property investment sector including those operating in finance, legal and tax, traditional and online letting agents, auction houses, local authorities, landlord insurance, proptech, innovation and landlord associations.

Co-hosted by TalkTV presenter Ian Collins (pictured, with Shamplina) and comedian Stephen K Amos, the awards are open to all each year and free to enter and judged by some 23 well-known industry figures including Vanessa Warwick of Property Tribes, John Howard, Julie Ford and Sean Hooker of the PRS.

Winners

Other winners at the awards included the National Residential Landlords Association, its Chief Executive Ben Beadle, broker Mortgages for Business and the Leaders Romans Group.

Shamplina’s award was also open to public voting, and he tells LandlordZONE that “getting out there and presenting to landlords and agents at both shows and training events is what I do almost every week of the year so it was great to have that work recognised at these awards once again.

Shamplina was up against 23 other well-known industry speakers this year. Find out more about the awards.
