FREE workshop giving energy efficiency advice & funding for the privately rented housing market
Up to £7,200 for private landlords in Lewisham, Bexley and Bromley: find out more at free event
Privately rented homes are becoming ever more important across London, and landlords are under pressure to improve quality and affordability.
Proposed new regulations will make it almost impossible to rent out a property with an F or G energy rating, and more and more people are struggling to balance the cost of their energy bills with everyday living costs and paying their rent.
Lewisham, Bexley and Bromley Councils are working together to offer support and grant funding to improve the energy efficiency of homes in the privately rented sector.
To kickstart the campaign, the Councils would like to invite landlords, property management companies and letting agents to a free event on Friday 27 February from 1pm – 4.30pm at Lewisham Town Hall.
At the event you will:
– Find out about grant funding of up to £7,200 per property to improve the energy efficiency of your homes
– Learn about ways to fund energy efficiency improvements at no upfront cost
– Hear about proposed new regulations and understand how to stay ahead of the game
– Learn about a range of free business support available to landlords and property companies in Lewisham
