Platinum Property Partners’ Steve Bolton & Nick Carlile will be launching their new book, ‘The 7 Biggest Mistakes Made by Property Investors and How to Avoid Them’ at Borders’ bookstore in the N1 shopping centre, Islington on Friday 23rd October from 7pm.

Here budding entrepreneurs will be given the opportunity to network into the evening with Steve & Nick, PPP Franchise Partners and senior property and business industry experts.

The book is endorsed by high profile figures from the property, business and personal development spheres, including Simon Woodroffe, entrepreneur and founder of YO! Sushi who says ‘I trust these guys – Read this book – Do it now!’; Kate Faulkner, author of the Which? Essential property guides and internationally acclaimed speaker Brian Tracy.

In the book Steve and Nick, both multi-millionaire property and business entrepreneurs and co-founders of the Platinum Partners Group, share the secrets to creating financial freedom. Steve Bolton comments: “This book is about more than property investing.

So many times when people come unstuck, it’s because they don’t look at the bigger picture; although it’s impossible to say where and when house price values will rise again, what we do know is now is a great time to invest – if you avoid the biggest mistakes property investors make!”

“For example, one of our Franchise Partners bought a property in April 2008 for £225,000, spent £61,000 renovating it* and has just had it re-valued at £335,000, giving almost 50% growth year on year when nationally, properties have fallen by 9.4%! (Land Registry)”

“If you get property investment correct, then not only could you earn from increased capital growth, but our FPs make, on average, over £12,500 a year pre-tax profit from each buy to let property and generate a yield of 10-27% versus a national average of 4.56% (www.findaproperty.co.uk letting index).”

“So from our perspective, the time is ripe for property investors to gain great returns on capital as well as income in 2010 and beyond.”

*Updating the property included re-wiring, adding a brand new kitchen and two new bathrooms and re-decorating throughout.

This launch is taking place during the Property Investor Show/OPP Live 3-day event at ExCeL, where Platinum Property Partners is exhibiting on stand 140.
