Hamilton Fraser’s Property Podcast discusses breaking news and key topics within the private rented sector, featuring a new special industry guest in each episode.

In the latest episode of Hamilton Fraser’s Property Podcast, ‘A property investment pandemic – where have all the good ones gone?’, Eddie Hooker, CEO of award winning Hamilton Fraser Total Landlord Insurance and Paul Shamplina, Founder of Landlord Action and Brand Ambassador at Hamilton Fraser, are joined (virtually) by special guest Jonathan Schuman, an established portfolio landlord managing 400 properties.

With many years of property market expertise, including as an estate agent and chartered surveyor, Jonathan provides his unique insights into how he began his diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and retail properties. Jonathan, Eddie and Paul discuss how the current COVID-19 pandemic could impact property investments long-term, and whether this mirrors the challenges faced by landlords in the 2007 financial crisis. Eddie also asks Paul and Jonathan if they believe that rent reductions and deferments could lead to potential issues at the end of the tenancy.
