Arsenal tops the league table every time when it comes to renting prices in their area.

With a two bedroom flat going for £2,000 per calendar month you’d almost need to be on a footballer’s wage to afford it.

Lettings agent Rentify has compiled a league table of top football clubs that are ranked on a rental price basis for a two-bedroom flat.

The tables reflects the disparity between rents across the county and brings the focus on living economics across regions into sharp relief.

By contrast, a young football player moving to Sunderland could pick up a flat near the club’s stadium for just £425.

Players working for northern clubs would all have a lot of salary left over after paying rents at Liverpool (£495), Manchester City (£650), and Manchester United (£650).
