Worcester property management firm Premier Places has announced three senior leadership appointments.
Respected property specialist Dani James, who has been with the agency for 10 years, has been promoted to the newly-created post of chief executive. She will now lead the firm’s business development plans.
Miss James, 31, joined the firm in 2004 and has risen through the ranks most recently heading up the agency’s Worcester office. She will continue to report to owner Julia Williams who she will work closely with to develop the firm’s new Student Places sub-brand while ensuring the business and its staff continue to progress.
The Foregate Street-based agency has also made two further management appointments.
Andy Lloyd has been appointed as regional investment executive and returns to Premier Places where he was lettings director at the former Redditch office for four years between 2005 and 2009. Andy, 34, was previously a director at Wulstans Inventory Services in Worcester and will be concentrating on regional growth, widening Premier Places’ property portfolio and managing the agency’s negotiation team.
Matt Sleep has been promoted to the role of lettings operations manager and will now focus on the day-to-day management of the agency’s customer service, maintenance, administration and inspection teams. Matt, 27, joined Premier Places in 2009 and was previously with Nationwide Building Society.
Both Andy and Matt will report to Miss James.
Julia Williams, owner of Premier Places said: “We have set ourselves ambitious growth objectives for the next five years so it is vital we have a talented senior management team in place to make those ambitions a reality.
“Dani has been with Premier Places for 10 years and understands the industry inside out. During that time she has built a widespread reputation for her expertise and talent.
“She has a first-class calibre and will thrive in her new role during what promises to be an exciting period for us as we prepare to increase our portfolio, unveil new services and launch our Student Places brand – the only truly dedicated student lettings service in Worcestershire.
“I am also delighted to welcome Andy to the team. He knows our business and its culture and is already making an impact. He will be a great addition and will use his experience to open new doors and build on existing landlord and investor relations.
“Matt also knows our business well and in recent years has been a consistent high performer. It’s a management position he fully deserves and I am sure the role will give him an even brighter future within the industry.”
Ms Williams will continue to play a key strategic role in the future direction of the agency which employs 13 people at their offices in Foregate Street, Worcester. She said she will be exploring a ‘variety’ of revenue and marketing opportunities.
She added: “As a business we are backing ourselves to win like never before. We have an exceptional team and these three appointments underline how ambitious we are to take Premier Places to a whole new level.”
