The lucky winner this year is portfolio landlord Dean Christy.
Mr Christy, whose properties span Reading and London, is the Lucky winner of our prize this year, a 40” Sony HD TV.
Mr Christy, who has been a landlord for 15 years, is keen to expand his portfolio which he owns through a limited company.
When asked about is views on the changes to taxation of rental property income in the future, he thought that this would favour larger landlords like him.
Landlords selling up would just as likely have their properties snapped up by other landlords as first time buyers.
Has the government thought through the changes properly?
Would they not make it even more difficult for young people to buy and push up rents for tenants?
The competition this year is sponsored by the following top-line suppliers to the UK rental property market. It has enabled us to donate £1200 to Cancer Research UK – www.cancerresearchuk.org
