You are here:
LandlordZONE is a brilliant site full of very useful information and contacts.
What a fantastic site. I’m considering buying-to-let and I could read your site all day if only I had the time.
I am in Lincoln and entering the student letting market, your site is an invaluable asset to novices and professionals alike, keep up the good work!
We are from Buckinghamshire, England. My daughter wishes to become a Landlady whilst at university. This site I found to be extremely useful, easy to navigate and very user-friendly, crisp and clear. It also came up at the top of the list when I punched in Student Room to Let Schemes, so it also saved me time in searching too.
I am located in Carlisle, Cumbria and have two properties aimed at the student market. Your website has been an invaluable tool to set me on the right track to becoming a successful landlord. Thank you.
I live in Dorset and am a private landlord with one property in which I have tenants.
I’ve been looking for a long time for a site like yours – which looks as if it will provide answers to a lot of those questions which arise in the course of letting. Good luck with the site!
As a prospective landlord I have found your site to be very helpful and easy to navigate. As well as answering some of my questions it has also thrown up a few things I had not considered.
I am a Property Manager for an Estate Agents in London SE1. We have 50 managed properties on our books. I am often faced with difficult situations and the correct guidance and information is
imperative in this line of work. The help this site provides has proved invaluable at times and has given me the courage to stand by my convictions!! Thanks.
Heather & Williams – We are a local independent lettings and property management firm located in Dorset. We specialise in the personal touch between our landlords and tenants. We are on call 24/7. We understand that our clients needs are our number one concern. You mentioned Southcourt as being one of the best. We agree whole heartedly. Terrific informative site, now in my favourites.
Great site – Hi, just wanna say what a great site and great bunch of people are here. I have successfully bought and rented my first property out just from getting info from this site. I am managing my own property and and keen to expand my portfolio!! thanks guys!!
You can do it! Section 21 – Just had tenant leave after Section 21 accelerated possession process. We did it ourselves with the fantastic help of LandlordZONE … There was minor rent arrears from the tenant it was mainly antisocial behaviour to neighbours etc. The AST had run 6 months so issued NTQ and got order for possession despite ‘defence’ being filed. Did not need bailiffs as left on possession order date. Two small points-if NTQ is not for rent arrears, just possession, then it must be issued by a Court close to where tenant lives. [We live in London but had to issue it in Colchester] Secondly the tenant came from a local reputable letting agency, we got copies of the Homelet reference form and the previous landlords satisfactory references, however as the tenant was a nightmare it may be some landlords will give a reference just to get rid of someone, so its then the next landlords problem. Watch out for that one! We have now joined one of the Landlords Associations that are available for backup ,but we did it only with info from the LandlordZONE! So can you !
“Just a note to let you know that you have a great web site,
and we have listed you in our International Real Estate Directory.”
Firstly I’d like to say thanks for a great website. I’m just about to become a landlord for the first time and have found the site an invaluable source of information.
Thank you for an informative and helpful website. I have had to do a lot of research since inheriting a protected tenant. I have found LandlordZONE to be the best resource online.
I think that this is a great site and full of useful information. I hope to become a landlord and have found the information here invaluable. My property is in Croydon, Surrey.
Located in Gravesend in Kent, England. Looking into possibility of having a lodger. This is the first site I have found that actually provides information which is relevant and useful.
I would like to congratulate you and your team for the outstanding quality of both your work and website ‘Landlordzone.co.uk’.
I am currently living in Birmingham but aspire to live in Herefordshire within the next few years. I am about to purchase property in Hereford to let to students and have visited your site for the first time today. It is a goldmine! – an absolutely invaluable resource for a complete novice like me.
I am a private landlord with two properties let in Southampton, Hampshire (UK). Your website has provided answers to some difficult questions and I am grateful for your help.
I am a property landlord based at Bridgend South Wales.
Wonderful site for info!
Located in Scotland; area of interest – Housing Law and Advice work, particularly tenancy and repairs issues. This site is one of the most useful resources yet although I would like to see links to more legislation; I have been a long time hunting for this! Consider yourselves bookmarked.
I’m located in Plymouth as a new residential landlord. Your site is indeed one of the best I’ve ever come across on any subject.
I have countless times referred to your site, and have comfort and help 24hrs, if necessary, without waiting for agents or solicitors to open.
Fantastic. Just what I was looking for. A one stop information site with unbiased information (unlike a certain well advertised organisation offering the world, a two day seminar later and 10k lighter in the pocket, for the same info and offers which you and your associates offer on your site for free). A very refreshing change !
Thanks for help. Some of you may remember my post regarding the council denying me the tenant’s HB for the last week he was in my property as he said he had left the week before. Back in Nov 05 I produced a dated and signed letter from him to prove my case but the council would not pay. They kept writing to me saying they had to write again to the tenant, asking if I had any more proof etc.
I finally snapped this weekend and emailed to say that unless they paid me (or gave me a date when they would pay) by this Fri I was lodging a formal complaint with the council and other bodies. Lo and behold, phone call today to say they will pay and profuse apologies. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on my last posting – your help is once again very much appreciated.
