Quantified Demand – A document which is only issued after the end of the lease, that sets out all aspects of the allegations including the money sought for damages caused by the breach and any other items of loss.
Quarter Days – The traditional rent collection days – Lady Day – March 25, Midsummer – June 24, Michaelmas – September 25 and Christmas Day – December 25. These represent the quarters of the year or 91 days.
Quiet Enjoyment – A term meaning that the tenant is allowed to conduct the premise how they see please without any intervention or conflict from the landlord.
Quinquennial – Rating revaluations in England, Wales and Scotland usually take place every five years, hence are termed Quinquennial reviews.
