new member saying hi!
hi guys and girls! Have just joined up to this lovely forum and thought i'd say a quick hello! Have been reading through some very interesting and useful posts today and thought it would be criminal not to join. A little about me: im 22 years old from Watford (north london) and with the help of my dad managed to purchase a massionette last summer which is currently let out. Its 2 bedroom on the 1st floor on top of a very quite office which is opened mon - fri 9-5 so the tennants are very happy with the level of tranquility compared to some other masionettes on top of shops etc. was originally looking for a flat in a purpose built block but they are just too expensive in the area i live and also very small so this i think was a good compromise. i have started to settle down now with the mortgage and am looking to venture into a property development project sometime in the nxt few months. I work in luton bedfordshire and the property in these areas are very modestly priced. i believe that this is a town where the proprty will boom in the next few yeats. Plently of money comming in from the government to improve the town and also the M1 junctions 7-11 are undergoing major works for an extra lane. this will make transport from luton to london and vice versa very quick and accessible.
i am going to start looking around seriously and maybe also look into auctions. would be very useful if you guys can guide me into the right direction in terms of auctions and any websites that list up comming auctions in this area..
