Default Does the deposit need re-protecting?

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but was hoping westminister can answer the following as its related.

If a fixed term tenancy comes to an end and rolls over onto a periodic, does the deposit have to be re-registered?

    No, with any scheme.

If you issue a replacement tenancy then the DPS don't need to know but MyDeposits and TDS will require the deposit to be re-registered (and a new fee payable).

Then please don’t, especially if the thread is currently active and only two hours old.
