1. Is there any set rules relating to how long a LET flag board can be positioned outside a property?

2. As well as a LET board are there any rules about putting another flag board next to it promoting ones letting service offers?

3. What about small advertisemant boards on railings at junctions. I see them all the time, so is that also it acceptable?

1. Is there any set rules relating to how long a LET flag board can be positioned outside a property?

Yes, Town and country Planning act
Once a flat or house hasbeen let or sold, Flag bourd must be
taken down after 14 days.
Any longer and you send a bill to letting agent for using your
property for advertising at £ 1000 per day, on your property,
without your permission. ( That's what I do, but if you are
not prepared to remove the sign after 14 days and walk into
their offices, and plonk it on the desks, dont send the bill )
I state the fee is waived so long as the place is for sale or rent.

when board does comedown, you send abill for the damage done
to the wall, and you want th e brick with the holes in replaced, and
the timber removed ( that breaks off sometimes ) and soil
replenished where there isnow a hole in the soil.

To let / for sale cannot be more than one ( from memory ) post,
but you can have one post with a different company on the other
side of the "flag"

No, it would probably be against Council regulations.

Probably,but you would get complaints from the street, and may be
toldto take it down.

But sounds like you want to advertise your own services and are
finding ways to put signs all over the place.
This is not recommended.

Pay your money and advertise correctly and legaly.
