    Default Non paying tenant, can I offset legal costs of repossession etc?

    Tenant has been served with s21, won't or can't leave etc. once this is resolved are the inevitable legal costs tax deductible?

    Yes. They are business expenses.

    Is your rental gross income (before expenses, and assuming tenants pay on time) less than 15k per tax year?
