New windows/double glazing

I have a good landlady and I am happy in my home, only problem is its a 1900 cottage with very old windows.
All the rooms get very bad condensation on the windows (which freezes inside in the winter) my kids room has a lot of
Mould of the curtains and I have to have a de-humidifier on all day.
My neighbour (same style property, same landlady) had
Secondary glazing fitted but she had to pay half - the
Landlady will do the same for me paying half but my neighbour pays 350.00 PCM less than me. Should I pay half?

Suggest you wait until 28th January & see if it can be done "free" under Green Deal or ECO. Ask for a Green deal assessment - you might even be given £150 for having it done. Maybe other things done also...

Is your neighbour a regulated tenancy and you are not.

I certainly wouldn't pay anything towards improvements in a house if the LL can give me notice tomorrow (even if I was sure that they wouldn't)
