Sounds like you have a few virus's.

I don't know which anti-virus software you use, but I think you need to change it.

AVG does not catch all of the Adware.

Because AVG slows down your ( My ) computer, I only load it
to do a scan, then delete it.
Then I run spybot, ( Anti-Spyware software ) which is designed
specifically to catch Adware, and also most viruses.

Sounds like mind the gap has adwear.

Which browser, IE or FF etc ,and which version, do you use, and what antivirus or internet security do you have?

Then I and am sure others will try and work through your settings to stop this.

Have you tried using someone else’s computer to see that it doesn’t happen? I am not aware of any of the issues you have mentioned being related to LLZ, which I access using a variety of computers each with different internet security software.

Fox News Tech take mentioned Ghostery which blocks trackers and adware and I have installed it on the laptop at the flat. It has the option of showing what's being blocked.

And it has a really cool Purple Ghost on the tool bar menu too

However if you remote access as I do via Log Me In, from the Shed, or use a VPN, you get blocked.

Many thanks for all the suggestions. Problem now resolved (after much scanning and re-booting and mild to moderate language, as they say in the film trailers).
