If there is a debt to the CSA from before he started paying then he will be expected to start paying that off as well as the support payment, once that is paid up to date the monthly amount should drop.

Thanks, yes that makes sense.
My friend needs help again folks.
Yesterday his boys arrived to stay the weekend, and told him they are going on holiday to Africa on the 26th with their mum. My friend had heard nothing about this, so made some enquiries with the extended family who he is still on good terms with. (The mum denies there is a holiday planned at all.)
The result of this is even more concerning, because he has been told that the mum intends to leave them in Africa.
He has been to the CAB about this, and their (laughable) suggestion is that he also go to the airport and tells the police that the boys are not to travel.
This would easily be thwarted by them leaving before the 26th. Any suggestions?
I think you need to ask a 'family law' forum, especially one that might have some ideas about how to get an injunction quickly.
