Council tax allowable expense for income tax ?

Hi

just a quickie. Usually the tenants pay the council tax, but I have had a run of voids.

I know I am liable to pay the council tax, but is it an allowable expense for income tax purposes.

I did look around, but only found stuff about council tax itself, rather than the income tax implications of it...

Yes, all expenses such as Council Tax, Water, Electric, Gas are allowable expenses the landlord can submit in reducing their income from rental property.
