Default Vicky Pryce jury discharged in Huhne speeding points case

I think the judge really wanted to say that the jurors were too thick to understand.

Some of the questions asked to the judge by the jury are quite scary, actually:
In another question, the jury asked if one of them could come to a verdict based on reasons that were not presented in court or supported by the evidence. A third question asked about Ms Pryce's religious convictions, even though this was not a matter in the trial.
    What???

Interesting! It throws up the point that jurors are not schooled in the niceties of the law, 12 men 'good and true' they may be, but take them out of the fields they know and they are struggling to understand. Or maybe they've been nobbled.

It made me weep for us. The earlier questions show our societies increasing articulacy, but decline in the understanding and use of words. "me human rights to 'ave evreefin simples"

When you start asking "what things make them guilty or not" you realise you are dealing with a complete moron, and as for the rest that want "trial by twitter", it's not X factor you blockheads!

I'd have put each of them on trial and frankly I am not sure it is in their best interests to put them back on the streets!

    Rome is definitely burning......

But would we want to be tried by 12 jurors just like you, LHA?!
How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive? Homer Simpson

Well I'd know why I was there, and to consider the case and facts and arguments in evidence "not wot I red on me mobi".

Based on my earlier post you ought be more concerned if I was the Judge...

Default Bees and flowers communicate using electrical fields, researchers discover

Plants change their electrical field when they are empty of nectar, so as not to annoy the bees:

I sincerely hope you don't believe that. While I'm here, why do you bother posting a 2 hour video on some of your posts? do you honestly believe any of us are going to spend 2 hours watching it?

Why not? It sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

There is no compulsion for you to watch any videos.
