getting tenants address from council

My tenant owes four months rent. S.21 notice served on 24th December. expires 29th February. Possession hearing 6th March under s.8. Client tells me she is waiting to hear from council re housing to see if will move out on 29th. If she is rehoused it will be because she has not told them about possession hearing. Council say that if being chased for rent she will be classed as intentionally homeless.

My question is this:- If she moves out on 29th and is put in temporary housing by the council, can I ask the court on the 6th to make an order requiring the council to give me her address so that I can pursue the claim for arrears.

You could- but I don't know if the Court will do it.
Remember that the Council are not party to the proceedings and would therefore not be bound by them- so Court may not feel it appropriate to make an Order that has little effect.
