Five year tenancies [Archive] - LandlordZONE Forums

We have a tenant who would like to sign an agreement for five years. Can we use a standard assured shorthold tenancy agreement and what is the proceedure for executing the agreement. Are there any special requirements that need to be taken into account for that length of term?
