help! need information and can't find it! We have a commercial property where the tenant moved in 18/07/05. They have paid one months rent and currently owe 6 weeks, how do we go about evicting them if the monies do not come in?

We normally rent residential properties and I am uptodate on residential law! (well as you can be!)

Can we issue a notice after 8 weeks? This person has been nothing but hassle! We just want rid now if they are not going to pay on top of being a pain!

Probably best to instruct bailiffs to carry our Distress for Rent which allows the bailiffs to recover commercial rent arrears on your behalf without the need for solicitors or courts at all. See our Directory section on Debt Collectors:
