Credible tenants: middle-aged, unemployed, able to pay?

Hi all,

A quick question aimed at landlords, this is just to see what kind of reaction we may receive.

Would you consider a couple (early fifties) as tenants that are:

1.Currently unemployed – but actively seeking employment, in receipt of two pensions totalling £660.00 per month and housing benefit (not on Income support).

2.Able to pay a few months rent plus bond upfront and provide a guarantor

I would appreciate any feedback, thank you in advance!

If you have a credible guarantor I wouldn't have thought you'd have too much problem.

I can't see any major issues with this sitatuation. I have taken on tenants in much worse circumstances. As long as they are 'All right' as people ( if you know what I mean ) then you shouldn't have any problems.
