hi guys

i am thinking about buying properties again?

do you think it is a good time to start... and can you recommend any websites i can get advice?

Any property you buy is likely to fall in value over the next 6 months. If you are happy with that then buy. What you have to remember is that in January there will be a large increase in properties rising further in April when investors in difficulty put their properties up for sale to make the most of CGT changes. After that 6 month period there may be further falls. Its your choice but all these estate agent and people who say property will remain flat in 2008 are increasingly looking out of touch with reality.

A lot of people will make a lot of money from prop in the next 12-18mths ...buy buying, as always ....carefully and with understanding of the market ....

It definitely the cleanest council flat I've seen. I wonder if the urine stained lifts and crack addict invested communal corridors are just as clean.:)

Although this is still the case with alot of council blocks, I think they have been improving dramatically over the years.

I have lived in 5 different council high-rise blocks since 1989. If they continue to get better they will be a good investment.
