I would have to say yes, for using a police officers name :D

Those initials can come in handy. I once bought a camera off ebay that never arrived --- after repeated emails which were ignored I fired off one from another address and signed it P C Wilkins (the guy only knew my first name at that point). I got my money back.

And what is the punishment now for pretending to be a policemen? :rolleyes:

I wasn't --- P C is genuinely my initials. Surely it can't be a crime to sign a letter with my initials. And at no point did I even imply that I was a policeman --- he may have got that impression but you can blame my parents for that, they chose my name!

I tought about naming my boys Lord and Earl to give them a head start in life.

My daughter was going to be called 'Where do you think you have been 'til this time of night' as I reckon it will save time shouting at her when she is older :p

The wife said, no on both counts.

You're not the only pretend policeman. There's:
a. PC World;
b. Constable S. Haywain;
c. John Sargeant; and
d. Health & Safety Inspectors.

...and those pointless "community support officers" who aren't allowed to help you if you're drowning.

A double entendre sticks out a mile. I don't know why we're all so mad for it. Surely adults' humour rises up above this level, whenever it spurts out accidentally, and we should not take it lying down no matter how hard it is or how much it's a pain in the bum.

I'm sorry but all this is just giving me the HUMP, i'm off to bed!

Peter,

The votes have been casted.

Do you have anything to say in your defence?:p

No --- I'm just glad we've reached a consensus and you all agree with me.

"Casted"? In what language is that a word, pray?
Perhaps Indian, since they have several castes.

No, I have completed a search for a language called 'pray' but can't seem to find any. ;)

I have completed a search of 20 language's and "Casted" is not in any of them, does that mean I have invented a new word? :rolleyes:

In case anyone doesn't know how to "ignore" someone on the forum, here are the simple instructions.
Click on the user's name on a post, click on "View Public Profile", and then click on the option to the right of the screen "Add [user] to your Ignore List". And then you won't be bothered by any more of their posts!
