It's just something I keep hearing these days. In conversation, why do people end a sentance with "so...."

You want pet hates?
"So"- it's the new black.
(And people who can't spell "sentence": I centanse them to lyphe inprizomant).

That cheered me up from my black mood. I was soooo wrapped up in my irritation of the so syndrome and feeling "tence" that I didn't notice my typo.

Actually, you have just reminded me of something else. My daughter's English teacher spells sentence 'sentense' which is absolutely criminal for someone in her job!

It's just a phrase she's going through.
