View Full Version : What is the area of housing with potential most growth?

I have been having some thought. oh no, i here you say.....

This evening I have been to view a house with the prospect of buy to let, though when I went I did some basic electric, gas and structural checks and thought, that despite, its good location and off road parking, I would give it a miss. My view is to get tenants into my property fairly quickly with little outlay in terms of the elec, gas. First and foremost is the safety of the tenants. This property didn’t offer this.

Question:

Which area of housing do you consider will now see the most growth in the coming years?

May I be barking up the wrong tree, trying to buy a terraced property, when for an extra £30,000 - £40,000 I could be buying a semi-detached 3 beds, garage, off road parking gardens, in a good area? Surely as the capital growth investor, I should be looking at what best property will be my exit in a few years to come.

Any thoughts?

Kind regards
Andyman

I reckon the best growth will be in debt management companies.

It would be piquant if one of them became insolvent, though.

Off road parking, garage and gardens will always demand premiums and as more parking restrictions and development of gardens comes into play, there will be even more demand. But, I guess that doesn't answer your question as such.

That's probably not how those in the industry would describe it, but yes deliciously ironic for sure... a like bit solicitors being sued. :D

But solicitors are sued chiefly because we have excellent and v. costly insurance.

It's still ironic... and , uhm, piquant. ;)

I had a piquant pie once or, let me think, was it a pecan pie?
