Can anyone advise if a tenant has to give Notice to his Landord before leaving their property at the end of the 12 month ast period. Or can he just walk away??

I know as the Landlord i have to provide Notice to the Tenant if i want them to leave, and wondered if it works both ways

Thanks JG

As I understand it, excluding break clauses and the likes, within the fixed term, the tenant can walk away at the end of the agreement giving no notice. Outside of the fixed term a months notice should be given.
