I am renovating a Victorian 3 bed tce to let and will be replacing the old internal doors. The old doors have closers on them, not all were still working.

Do I have to have closers on the new doors? Does it depend on how many tenants there are? The second reception room was used as a bedroom in the past.

Does it depend on the type of contract?

Any advice on what type of doors?

Thanks in advance

the closers are usually put on fire doors, so it depends what the property will be used for, i dont think you need them for normal lettings, but fire doors help with the insurance and also the noise level, as they do not slam to
