View Full Version : Is agent party to AST? What address to show?
It's newbie again!!! When I give tenants their AST. On the part about where notices can be served can I put my agent (mum's address) ? Does it have to be Landlord's (mine) ?
Also I'm adapting an AST template and Landlord is referred to a lot. Can I substitute Landlord for Landlord's agent ??

Agent is not party to AST, however.
This appears to contradict what someone else said that agent can enter into and sign contracts. What I'm asking is if Tenant needs to serve notice can they serve to agent's address? Thank you.

it may be that the landlord may be overseas and a UK address is preferred for serving of notices etc etc - its the same as on our TA's if we manage the property our address is always put for serving of notices etc and i think this member is using his mum as his agent.
