help:eek:

i have been paying my premiums for over 3 years now to let protector.com and no claims until storm a few weeks ago
put in a storm damage claim for damage to my flat roof, had the usual visit from loss adjuster from Davies adjusters, chadwell heath and SIX weeks later i was told that my insurance was void as i hadnt told the insurance company that my GARAGE had a flat roof!
So Markel International , the underwriters told me now that i have NO insurance and have returned my premium paid

I have come across Let Protector. They are run by Commercial Express and now use Navigators Insurance. Markel and Navigators are both American companies and when I last checked, Navigators were not part of the Association of British Insurers. This does not affect their creditworthiness but they will not have the back up of this association.

The wording needs to be read carefully. They only give Liability of £1,000,000 unles you pay extra premium.

If your property becomes vacant and you do not tell them, cover is excluded. You must also have a Corgi certificate and inspection of the electrics by a qualified electrician otherwise cover does not apply.
