Does anyone know whether someone with a buy-to-let portfolio, like many of us in this forum, would be deemed to be a contractor by CIS340, and therefore have to comply with all the paperwork? Like many people we buy, renovate and then let properties. Our accountant has just been to a seminar where they said that buy to let landlords will have to comply and it's quite a worry!!
