5 Month Tenancy

Is it possible to have a tenancy agreement for less than six months, say 4 or 5 months?

Yes.
1. Standard Assured Tenancy- no time limit criteria.
2. Assured Shorthold Tenancy- no time limit as such, BUT cannot use procedure under s.21 of Housing Act 1988 so as to get possession order implemented until after first six months.
