Hi, I currently rent out a house with five bedsits, each about 14 sqm in floor size. There is no shared sitting room or common area, just shared kitchen and bathroom. The house is two storey. My local council are aware of this HMO and I upgraded to their HMO standards about six years ago. I was wondering if any HMO landlords have been required by their local council to provide a shared sitting room, as regarding HMO regs?
