Best place for mortgages

Which is the best place to take a mortgage out on on my house. currently rent it out but have no mortgage on it but want to rise some money to finance a one or two rental property.

Hi, you will find many places to source a buy to let mortgage from. Today's market is highly competitive with many lenders offering good buy to let mortgages.

Mortgage brokers who specialise in this area can generally offer better products than going direct to the lender and if they keep their fees low you will get a cracking deal.

Some mortgage brokers also get to 'package'...this allows them to offer a superior service i.e. control over valuation (who to insturct) thus ensuring quick turn round to mortgage offer. Furthermore, if the buy to let mortgages interest rate gets pulled by the lender then mortgage brokers who package get a little longer to do this business.
