Probably a very quick question.
If my 'rent day' is completely different to the day I moved in on, then which day will my tenancy expire if I give one months notice?
I moved in on the 14th Sept 2010, but my first rent day was 4th Oct 2010. I had already paid the first month in advance of course so I was effectively 10 days ahead paying rent each month. My fixed term was over on 13th Sept 2011 and a rolling contract started on 14th Sept 2011.
Am I correct in saying that I need to give at least one months notice and say that I will move out on the 13th of 'some month', irrespective of the fact my rent is not paid on that date?
