My lovely 4 bed house was occupied for less than a year to a council tennant. Her kids drew on all the paint with perm pen and the place needed redeccoration completely. Beds, mattresses and loads of stuff dumped in the garden etc etc. The deposit is held by a solicitor who will not reimburse me for the damage. How do I get the deposit?
