this is a bit of a different one - but our aim is to help people and so I hope my post will be taken in the spirit its intended.

I am currently working on a TV programme which aims to help people who either hoard or are over keen collectors. We are looking for people where their hoarding has started to take over their lives and homes and they would benefit from some expert help.

This documentary series takes a therapeutic approach to hoarding, whilst offering a unique and tailored treatment programme, combined with a specialist de-cluttering service. It’s very positive and will show how hoarding affects lives, whilst exploring this often misunderstood condition and helping to de-clutter at the same time.

If this is you or you know someone who hoards, please get in touch.

There is an article about hoarders and the Court of Protection's involvement in Brethertons latest newsletter here:

I think you will find that many hoarders ,do not realise that they hoard and are unlikely to respond to your post. The worst case scenario's often have experienced a severe truama in their life.

Actually saving money in a bank account is a form of 'hoarding' and most people seemed to have been 'cured' of this particular form. Even the Labour Party cleaned out most accounts and all that valueless gold they were hoarding, whilst putting the nation in hock through PFI.

That sounds brilliant. When you finish with it can you send me a copy on DVD?

I collect DVDs.
