Tenants Partner Stopping Over

Hi,

Wondering if someone can offer some advice please.

My lodgers boyfriend keeps stopping over. She has been in breach of her contract for 2-3 months. I did let her know I'm not happy for this to continue.

Also I did bills inclusive - so they dont pay any extra for him stopping over. She has now handed in a months notice.

My question is can I take some money off her deposit as he has been living there rent free. If so how should I work it out.

Her boyfriend may have been stopping over but this is hardly living there is it? In any case, she's leaving, so problem solved. You can only use her deposit to make good any losses suffered by you, damage or non payment of rent for example.
