Dear All,

I've written a series of articles on my web site on climate change, sustainable development and the new planning system. If anyone is interested in this and how it will impact on the property sector, please start reading at http://www.enablinguk.com/sustainable-development-climate-change-and-planning.htm.

If you do have a look I'd be very grateful if you could comment on the content... The essays could be developed further...

Hope you like them...

PETER

I think its good to plan for climate change. The more we face up to it now, the better chance we have.

On a less grand scale, i would like to see more small scale property development look to clever frugality rather than ripping out servicable kitchens that aren't trendy enough, creating excess landfill, and creating more mdf and its toxic products.

Waste and fashion driven consumerism is a factor that really puts me off property development as a 'career choice'.

Hear, hear!!! The more each one of us does the better.... e.g. changing from an electric to gas kettle saves volumes of energy...AND you save 4 times the cost of the energy!!
