Short-term cover

Iam selling my tenanted property and have a completion date however my Landlord's insurance with Rentguard is about to expire and they won't give me cover for the extra 28 days needed. Are there any companies who offer short term cover in such circumstances without having to take out a 12 month policy and then get charged extra for cancellation?
