L's LPA Receiver evicts T- who blames L

My Tenants have been evicted by LPA receivers. Mortgage company claimed to know nothing about it, till we informed them.

Tenants now say we are to blame (landlords) because they were only there for a few months before eviction and they want money back - including the periods they have already rented for. or they take us to court for fraud.

How is this possible..??

I've no idea whether your former tenants have a case, especially as you've given so few details, but there's nothing to stop them from bringing a claim against you - it doesn't follow that they'll win it.

What 'fraud' are they alleging?
