Hi all
This is my first time on this forum so if you could bear with me for a while.
This question may have been asked before so if you could just humour me I would appreciate it. I am currently in the process of evicting a tennant after 6years by way of our solicitor, are the expenses I,me having to incure allowable against tax? also the hose has been left to get into a bad state of repair and will need a total refurb before it can be let again as far as i can tell this is allowable
against my tax am I right?

Thanks Steve.....

All allowable against tax.

If you are insured (legal fees, lost rent, damage) remember the insurance payout is taxable income - offset by any refurb costs.
