Fairly new to this area but we have a tenant who is causing a great many problems. Visitors at all hours, drug taking, damage to property etc. Police not interested. Tenant is son of the flat owner who does not want to evict him. All the other owners and residents however have had enough and want him out.
Lots of talk of a forced forfeiture....what does this mean and how is it achieved?
Your advice would be much appreciated.

Sorry not sure what angle you are coming at this from. Are you the rental landlord with problem tenants? Are you the freeholder? Are you also a lessee/leaseholder? In what way does this concern you please?

Forfeit means (in layman's terms) to lose the right to do or have something because you have broken a rule. The freeholder can seek to forfeit the lease through the courts.

Sorry I should have said, we are a Letting Agency appointed as Managing Agents for a small block of flats. Owners are leaseholders some of which have let. 50% are in residence and want this tenant out.
