Errmm - apologies if this imaginative scenario leads you off topic :)
Fed up with tenants who refuse to leave his property after they were issued with legal notices requiring possession landlord, Spike Rachman, decided (as the tenants so much wanted to stay) he would board up all the windows and doors of his house in multiple occupation. The operation was carried out in the early hours of the morning.
He also cut off the electric and water supplies. Tenants, some with babies, were in touch with the police by mobile phones. They were warned not to damage the property by forcing an exit and to co-operate with the landlord. Police were on hand to prevent rioting and protect the landlord when, after seven hours, the tenants were eventually released.
Guess Spike Rachman would be hung drawn and quartered. Would he also be regarded as contravening the Human Rights of his tenants?
The real story however involves an airline and maybe news censorship or control. See Air Passengers Human Rights - Virgin Flight 63 (http://www.the-scream.co.uk/forums/t22517.html?) - any comments there would also be appreciated.
