View Full Version : Reasonable insurance company (freeholder insuring own flats & leasehold)

Hi All, its that time of year again "Insurance Due" we have the freehold to a block of 4 flats 2 are owned by us as rentals 2 are leasehold. Im looking for some competitive quotes Building Insurance but dont have the time at the moment to spend a day ringing round and listening to endless sales staff droneing on....... Where's the best place for advice?? Right here i assume as many of you reading this do the same as us ........ If your happy with your premiums please leave me some contact details for your Insurers it would be nice to get some quotes and hopefully save some money!!!!! Many Thanks Jackie..:)

Find a broker who specialises and knows the market and not someone who says they do. It does not affect your premium as some think. they will summarise the cover and compare it.

I have used Alexander Bonhill since 2005; 0845 050 2105 and Deacon Insurance 01202 449 633 Both specialise, properly, in blocks of flats to the exclusion of all else

Also try Aviva's ResidentsLine- very helpful, quick, and competitively priced
