Was off work ill- will this affect mortgage application?

Hi

i applied for a mortgage with my brother a few weeks back after seeing a n house on a new build private estate. After speaking to the lady in the onsite sales office she reccomended a mortage specialist, so i phoned him he came out to see us and we filled in a application form etc, and took our documents, 2 days later he rang to say our application had been accepted but we had to send more wage slips off. Im just worried as i was off work for 2 months as i was ill, and it shows on my last 2 wage slips (i am now bk at work) im just nervous this will effect our application and if we dont get it , it will be my fault :(

any advice pls?

Talk to the mortgage specialist you are using - tell him/her everything. If they can't help, let me know, and I'll put you in touch with my broker.

Shouldn't be a problem, as Mevs says just make sure the broker knows everything, they should then be able to sort out for you.
