Hi all, i have just discovered this site and i am blown away with depth of info being discussed here. It has made me realize what a potential minefield i could be getting into!

I am considering entering the property investment market and would like to know how members find their properties. Do you use Estate Agents, auctions, property ads in local papers or the web?
I have considered visiting a few agents in my town and introducing myself and letting them know that i am a potential investor. Is this a good idea or will they just try to sell me anything that they have?

Any advice would be very welcome

Pete. well its their job to try and sell, but visit look, and form your own opinion, geting to know the estate agent can only be to your advantage.
