HMO Grant

Hi there

We have a five bedroomed house that we now have to conform to HMO regulations, does anyone know if there are any grants available to apply to for to help with the additional costs ?

Contact your local Environemental Health team and ask them to come round and take a look at yoru property and what will need doing, also ask about grants. We are with Swadlincote/Derbyshire council and have been working on converting a 3 bed house to an HMO, we have received the paper work for a Grant however its alot of red tape!

Work with your EHO and they will give you as much help and advise as they can.. work against them and they will come down on you like a ton of bricks!
